parallel phenomena

Parallel phenomena (2008), terracotta, approx. 25 x 25 x 30 cm - 10 x 10 x 12 in.
For one month, a standard block of clay was pierced thousands of times with an iron rod. The holes and the small balls produced as a residual part from the action of piercing, were fired in a kiln. The composition, from a geometric standard parallelepiped, without any waste, became an organic whole.
